As a Communications Strategist, Kelly offers 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, and public relations, with specialized expertise in strategies for public-private partnerships (P3). Working closely with partners, Kelly supports each organization’s strategic marketing communication plan while providing best practices that help partners achieve their goals while sharing successes with the community and nationwide, for more significant impact.
Among the highlights of her successful career, Kelly developed hundreds of winning strategies for clients in higher education and the U.S. military and managed public relations for a significant number of crises serving as a media spokesperson. Before entering the private sector, Kelly was a Program Manager and Executive Assistant for high-profile non-profits in Washington, D.C.
Kelly launched KDR Communications, LLC, to provide executive-level strategic communication through customizable engagements. KDR’s highly efficient approach delivers results that can supplement your communication and marketing efforts or seamlessly integrate as a part of your team.
Kelly is a proud military spouse and co-owns the company with her husband, Rob Douglas, a service-disabled veteran having served 28 years in uniform.
